Find out about your Echelon journalists! Page is in alphabetical order.
Hi, my name is Gabrielle Allard. People call me Gabby. Currently, I am a junior at Mitchell High School. I am taking journalism because I hope to pursue a photo-journalism career later in life. In my spare time, I like hanging out with friends, watching movies, and listening to all kinds of music (except country). I've lived in six different states, and so far, Colorado is my favorite.
Hey I'm Josh; you can also call me Bettner or Stitches. I'm just me but if I were to be stereotyped I would be stereotyped as a PUNK. I love listening to punk rock, metal, and techno. My friends mean the most to me because they're always there for me. My hobbies are photography, drawing, and hanging with friends. So ya, that's me, don't like it? Too bad.
My name is Kathy LeeAnn Clark, but people call me Kat, and I'm in 11th grade at Mitchell High School. I am a staff writer and one of my hobbies besides singing in the shower is writing poems. I am an outgoing person and I love to have fun. Now that you know a little about me, I hope you enjoy my articles!
My name is Lora, and really, I'm your typical blonde-haired, blue-eyed, left-handed human being. This is my first years on the Echelon/Outfox staff, and I'm pretty excited about it. I enjoy reading, writing, and taking pictures, so I guess I'm in the right place. When I'm not stuck doing homework, I like to laze around the house watching movies, or hang out with my friends at the mall, someone's house, the theater, or the park. I'm also not the most coordinated person out there, so my favorite "sport" is Forensics, justly labeling me a "speech-and-debate nerd". Other than that, I am me, and that's perhaps the most important fact here.
Hey guys! I'm Chelsea, a ridiculously optimistic person. I'm a romanticist and yes: I do wear contacts that make my eyes super blue. My dream is to become a world-famous author...sometimes I pretend to have an ego just to make people laugh. Most of the time I'm very passionate, romantic, and a sweet person. I love dancing like a retard, eating ridiculous amounts of food while watching FEARnet, and working out. I am especially fascinated with sunset lighting, descriptive words, photography, the feeling of warmth, and love. I'm deep. Very deep.
My name is Steven Gimbel. I am 16 years old and a junior at Mitchell High School. I work over at Wendy's and love to eat burgers. If I had a chance to do anything in the world I would just sleep because sleep is the best thing in the world. When I grow up I will be a Nuclear Engineer and build nuclear bombs. When I am done with high school I will go to either MIT or the Colorado School of Mines. I love to play any game and I am very open. If I offend you don't take it personally; I'm just kidding.
So I'm Caitlin Rogers and this is my second year in journalism. I originally joined because I was desperately avoiding Child and Adolescent Development. So that's how I got here. Since I was in the 3rd grade, I've been reading the Gazette's sports page and ever since, I've totally loved sports journalism. I love hockey (primarily Colorado College) and I will admit: I'm obsessed. I enjoy writing in this class and catching up with the friends. Honestly, I have no clue what I want to pursue in the future, but just in case, journalism may help me become the Gazette's reporter on CC hockey. Or maybe an elementary teacher.
